Centre sanctions ₹98 crore for modernisation of Kasimedu Fishing Harbour

The work has been divided into six packages, with the first package likely to begin by January. The entire project is likely to end by June 2025, says official. Stakeholders expect the new project to help the fishing community in and around the city in a major way
